What post op bra should I wear after a breast reduction?

Your surgeon will advise on the specific garment they recommend, but generally you will need a front fastening, wire free compression bra from the day of surgery. The post operative bra should offer firm support to minimise movement and be adjustable to accommodate swelling. Our Macom comfort bra and Macom Ultimate bras are our most popular choices for breast reduction recovery. How long should I wear a post surgery bra after an uplift?

Most surgeons recommend wearing a post surgery bra for a minimum of six weeks after a mastopexy or breast uplift. You may be recommended to wear it for up to 12 weeks. After 12 weeks many women can move into a soft, wire free everyday bra. Always follow your own surgeon's guidance as timelines can vary depending on the extent of surgery and your healing.
